Our Mission & Vision
The mission of College Park Baptist Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus. We desire to be“A Place of Grace” in an unforgiving world.
Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of God’s Word, the Holy Bible. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Dr. Doug Wilson, Interim Pastor – dougwilson@cpbcmobile.com

Dr. Doug is a Dean of the Office of Global Engagement at The University of Mobile and also serves as our Teaching Pastor. He leads our preaching on Sunday mornings and group discipleship on Sunday evenings. His desire is for God’s people to be led by the Holy Spirit, in order live and communicate God’s redemptive plan to all people and all nations (Psalm 67).  By this, the world will hear the Gospel and come to know and trust Jesus Christ as Lord (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 10:17; Philippians 3:10).

Bro. Wayne Cunningham, Associate Pastor/Family Ministry

Pastor Wayne grew up at College Park and was called to serve on staff in January 2011.  He is married to Justine Cunningham, and they have five children, Bryce, Josh, Kathryn, Caleb and Lydia.  Discipleship sets the tone for our children and family ministry.  We strongly believe the Biblical mandate in Deuteronomy 6 that parents are to be the primary disciplers of their children.  As a ministry we seek to partner with and equip parents to see our children “set their hope in God” as described in Psalm 78.

Michael Sewell, Student Pastor – michaelsewell@cpbcmobile.com
Michael is a graduate of UM who majored in Theology.  He will graduate in May of 2017.  Michael has been serving with our youth for a year and a half and plans to continue serving at College Park after graduation. He believes strongly in building relationships with each student within his ministry.  The passage that guides his vision in ministry is 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.  He wants to see every student discipled in such a way that they would be compelled by the love of Christ to no longer live for themselves.
